Then this Quick Alpha Saver is something for you. It let's you change the look and style of the alpha and once you are happy with it you just run the action and everything else will be done for you!
Your whole alpha will be saved for you in seperate .png files and one full alpha sheet.
It saves A-Z a-z 0-9 ä ü ö Ä Ü Ö ß ? ! & ( ) , . + - = < > /
(but there are several slots left where you could add your own)
This action has been tested in in CS2, CS3, PS7 and PSE6.
Note: For the photoshop elements users there are extra instructions for installation and .png thumbnail files as well as .xml files included.
